How does one do better each day in this New Year?

How does one fulfill the Resolutions one made to oneself and possibly to others this past New Year’s Eve?

Recognizing that to be really joyful and happy in this life, it takes a handful of things, not just one thing.

First, I must be more honest starting with myself.  And then, of course, being more honest with others.

I must realize, in a greater capacity, that I am important to myself and others do listen to me; they count on me.  I may not realize it at the moment, but the most important thing is to speak the truth in love. Dishonesty comes about because of fear, jealousy, and envy- to name a few.

One can be happy(ier) when one is honest and moral with their spouse, family, friends and co-workers.  It makes laying the groundwork for happy relationships possible.  It is fruitful and when one is honest, it simply feels better!

Life is about living with Truth and setting a good example.  Where I have not been as honest with myself or others, I will make recompense.   I will realize my shortcomings faster and do something about it quicker this New Year.
