Abilities and Skills

When it comes down to correctly observing people’s abilities and skills, it takes an exact science to do so.  It takes seeing things as they are and not as we would like or not like them to be.  This observation should not be clouded over by prejudices or pre-conceived ideas, wouldn’t you think?

As one’s ability to control one’s environment declines so in exact ratio his confidence wanes.  When one has all the data to hand, one can make good calculations about the forthcoming day, his friends and acquaintances, and his future.

One of the things processing does in Self-Analysis by L. Ron Hubbard, is that it brings more pleasure and less pain to one’s life.  It frees up the individual to compute more rationally.
